2 phase continuous industrial type separator clarifier centrifuge with 2 separate outlets for low and high density phases.
It’s a Sharples MV -35-32-22k-32 unit available, its rated for 15000 RMP bowl speed and requires an external motor. The unit will perform 3 phase separation but is not auto cleaning for solids meaning that the bowl will periodically need to be removed for cleaning. Motor power requirements will depend on liquid flow rate and densities. The internal bowl is stainless, the outlet hoods are aluminium and the main body is cast iron. The unit turns freely and since we acquired it when these photos were taken it has been stored under cover.
